Student Nature Riddles - Thetis Island Elementary School

In February 2021, via Zoom, I had the pleasure of reading poems and talking about the writing life with 20 students in a very special school on Thetis Island, off the coast of British Columbia. Thetis Island Elementary School is one of the few one room schools in Canada, and this year the school is celebrating its 100th year anniversary! In March, we Zoomed again, and this time the students, grades 1 to 7, read me their riddle poems. HUGE FUN! I've posted some of their riddles, along with their amazing artwork. Happy guessing!
